[upbeat music] Hello, hello. Welcome, welcome, everyone. This is Life List: A Birding Podcast with Molly Brown, Alvaro Jaramillo, and me, George Armistead.
Alvaro Jaramillo· Host0:17
Hello.
Mollee Brown· Host0:19
[laughs] Hey there. We, uh, we're all just talking about how we get to catch up, so it's nice to have these every now and then.
George Armistead· Host0:28
[chuckles] My goodness. Been a- it's been a minute.
Alvaro Jaramillo· Host0:30
Yeah.
Mollee Brown· Host0:31
Yeah, it has.
Alvaro Jaramillo· Host0:31
You got a crab hat on. Where'd you get the crab hat there, George?
George Armistead· Host0:35
Dude, I love my crab hat. It's, um... It's d- I think, is it Duck Company? Let's see. Yeah, no, Duck Camp. You know, they do, uh... They've got all sorts of, like, different, um, duck hats, and pintails, mallards. And I saw they came out with- I thought that's a crab ... they came out- [laughs] ... with the blue crab, which is, like- [laughs] ... you know, pretty iconic for the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where I spend a good bit of time. And I saw that, and I was like, "I gotta get one of those for my dad." And then I was like, "Wait, I want one, too." So I got one for each of us.
Alvaro Jaramillo· Host1:13
Huh.
Mollee Brown· Host1:14
Pretty cool matching hats.
Alvaro Jaramillo· Host1:16
The only place I've seen blue crab in abundance is Cuba, weirdly enough. I don't know how far south they go, but they, they're, they're widespread, those suckers.
George Armistead· Host1:28
Hmm.
