Offcuts - “High Value Women” Apparently Don't Accept Coffee Dates and Bad ROI on Orgasms

6/5/202634 min

Hey Lifers! Welcome to your little weekend snack!

We kick things off with Laura's post-baby-number-three return to exercise, specifically, an aggressive 8.5km power walk that has left her pelvis in absolute ruins. We also cover the lengths we've gone to impress men in our past lives: spearfishing, drones, the works.

Then we get into it:

  • Clavicular is… ‘penismaxxing’.
  • The "high value woman doesn't accept coffee dates" TikTok trend
  • Young Australians are collectively wasting $2 billion a year on skincare they buy and never finish.
  • A woman in America has been arrested for posing as a real estate agent to film luxury $12–13 million Bel-Air mansions for her Instagram.

[upbeat music] Hi, guys, and welcome back to another episode of Life Uncut. I'm Laura. I'm Brittany, and this is Off Cuts, your little weekend snack, the bits that made it on- [laughs] ... the cutting room floor, the stuff that couldn't quite make the main episode that Laura and I have been talking about all week. Although, we need to stop calling this not the main episode, because, like, all episodes are main. Listen to them all. There is no main episode. No, there is a main episode, but it's just more in our mind. Like, our main episode was always the longer form content that was a bit more nuanced, or we break it down, or we catch up on our life stuff. Like, in my mind, or our minds, that's the main ep. And then there's the Ask Uncut, which are the questions, and Off Cuts is the weekend snack. And then there's the dregs. Welcome to- Yeah [laughs] ... the dregs Off Cuts is the side chick. [laughs] Exactly. It's like the side piece you didn't know you needed. Do you know what? I've had something happen to me in the last couple of days. So I've, I've tried to get back into exercise recently, post-baby number three. You're looking great, Laure. [laughs] It's, it's not true. It's not true. You, it is true. You do. It's not consistent, but I'm trying. And on the weekend, I went for, like, a really aggressive walk. Like, I went for, like, a... And when I say really aggressive, like, I power walked. Only did, like, maybe eight and a half kilometers, but it was a, it- Only? Sorry. B- no, but I mean, if you're a power walker- That's a lot ... and you go for big walks, eight kilometers doesn't sound like that far, does it? Eight kilometers is so far, Laura. Yes. [laughs] People don't just go out for an eight-kilometer walk. I've got two Australian shepherds that I have to walk twice
