Okay, chapter 22. "Now the children of Israel broke camp and camped west of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho. So when Balak, the son of Zippor, saw all that Israel did to the Amorites..." Balak is the king of... Balak, son of Zippor, is the current king of Moab. So there's gonna be a bunch of very similar names here. So Balak, king of Moab, not to be confused with Balaam, who we're about to read about, not to be confused with Balok, who was played by Clint Howard in the episode of the original Star Trek series, The Corbomite Maneuver. Balak, right, is the, uh, king. "So Balak, the son of Zippor, saw all that Israel did to the Amorites," namely wrecking them, "and Moab was exceedingly afraid of the people because they were many, and Moab was irritated because of the children of Israel." I like that, they're irritated. Like, "Man, getting on my nerves, those Israelites." But notice here how, again, we see the king and the nation used interchangeably,
