Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Jeanine Herbst. The US military says another US service member has died after escalated fighting with Iran. NPR's Shondelise Duster has more.

US Central Command says an American service member was killed in action Saturday in northern Iraq. The service member was killed during a controlled detonation of an unexploded weapon from a downed Iranian drone. Centcom also says another US service member was injured and is being treated for a minor injury. This is the third US service member killed since Friday when two American service members were killed during an Iranian attack in Jordan. Four others were medically evacuated but have been discharged from Jordanian hospitals. US Central Command also says unidentified remains were found at the site of the attack in Jordan and are being examined. Shondelise Duster, NPR News.

Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been arrested by US Marshals in Miami. They're facing rape and sex trafficking charges in the UK. NPR's Lauren Frayer reports British prosecutors are seeking their extradition.

The United Kingdom's Crown Prosecution Service says Andrew Tate faces seven further counts of rape, three counts related to trafficking, three of assault, and nineteen for pornography. Tristan Tate faces an additional count of sexual assault, two of rape, and three related to trafficking.
