    Oil prices have dropped to their lowest levels in months as concerns over supply disruptions have eased. The Trump administration has announced one hundred and fifty million dollars in assistance for Venezuela after two powerful earthquakes struck the country on Wednesday night. NPR's Fatma Tanis reports at least two hundred and thirty-five people have died, and thousands of others were injured.

    The State Department says it's deploying search and rescue teams from Virginia and California to Venezuela to help locate survivors of the earthquake. The Virginia team will include eighty people and six dogs. Local authorities say they believe hundreds of people are still stuck under rubble.
