[upbeat music] Welcome to our ongoing coverage of, uh, Trade Deadline 2026. Uh, I'm your host, Jeff Marek. Uh, welcome to the sheet, uh, for this Wednesday, June the 24th. I know it's supposed to be draft week, but it has very much turned into trade week, and who knows, by the time this program is over, uh, there may be one or two more blockbusters still to come. Uh, couple of quick notes here, uh, before we get going on the program. Landon DuPont, uh, presumptive first overall draft pick in next year's draft, uh, who we most recently saw playing with the Everett Silvertips, will be heading to Michigan, uh, next year. Um, DuPont's group hasn't made it official yet, but that is the direction that it is heading, and we expect Landon DuPont to be in Ann Arbor, um, playing for the Wolverines, uh, next year. Michigan State was in on this one, too, and Everett was as well. There was a chance he was going to go back to junior hockey, uh, but he's made his decision, and he is off to Michigan. Uh, one other small note that we should also keep in mind for the draft, uh, this year's draft, Friday and Saturday, um, there is a new four-year signing window equalization. Now, what I mean by that is, um, if you draft a kid out of college, you've had four years to sign that kid, so you get a four-year glimpse until you need to make your decision whether you're going to sign the player
