[upbeat music] [upbeat music] Nothing had been seen from the British ships when, at 4:30 AM, the harbor suddenly erupted in shattering explosions and shell splashes. The sleeping crews came clattering onto deck to action stations, shocked and dazed, unable to distinguish any enemy, and believing at first they were under air attack. That was written by Donald McIntyre, Captain Donald McIntyre, in his book, Narvik. So not only was he a great destroyer captain and escort group commander in Second World War, after the war, he wrote endless books about the Navy, and this, of course, is the action that takes place in Narvik Harbor. And here we are, back again.
