Ben Lovett· Guest0:04
Thank you, Zane.
Marcus Mumford· Guest0:04
Thank you.
Zane Lowe· Host0:05
It's nice to see you. How are you?
Ben Lovett· Guest0:06
Nice to see you, mate.
Marcus Mumford· Guest0:07
Great, man.
Zane Lowe· Host0:08
Yeah, you should be.
Marcus Mumford· Guest0:09
You should feel great.
Zane Lowe· Host0:10
You should feel good. You should feel great. I mean, you know, if the music reflects the humans, um, you're in tune.
Ben Lovett· Guest0:15
Mm.
Zane Lowe· Host0:16
You're in tune to, to, to each other and to yourselves, and, uh, hasn't always been that way for humans, for all of us as people. You just, there's push and pull, there's tides you gotta deal with. Uh, but it's all flowing the right way. Congrats, I love this fucking record.
Marcus Mumford· Guest0:29

Ben Lovett· Guest0:30

It's, it's a push or it's a different con- little bit of friction. What got you to this place where it's seamless, it's, it's, it's flow state?
Ben Lovett· Guest0:50
I think time is our friend. Um, it's interesting hearing what you're saying there about the push and pull because we, I think, have to trust that the longer that we do this, the more opportunity there'll be that we hit that moment together. And this was just one of those moments when it all just aligned. You know, we'd finished Rushmore, and we were feeling creative. We felt good. We felt reconnected and galvanized and energized creatively. And then, and then Aaron walks into the studio, and he has this, like, special energy to him.
Zane Lowe· Host1:26
Mm.
Ben Lovett· Guest1:26
He's a very unique human being.
Zane Lowe· Host1:28
Can you describe that a little bit, if
