The framework sets out a way forward to end their war and the global energy crisis. Details are sparse and do not go much beyond the broad brush strokes. The CBC's Katie Nicholson is in Washington, and Katie, just what do we know about the deal?

So unverified details have been leaking out about what this covers, both from the Iranian and US officials, but both sides seem to agree that this memorandum of understanding spells out the immediate cessation of military engagement, uh, the end of the US naval blockade of Iranian ports, and when signed, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Uh, the US president insisting last night the strait would reopen toll-free. But Pakistan, when it announced this deal being struck last night, was clear there was a week of technical talks ahead before
