  1. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:00

Welcome to An Excellent Fit, a podcast on style, culture, and the stories we tell through what we wear because getting dressed is never just about the clothes. I'm Alice Casely-Hayford.

  2. Kay Barron· Host0:10

And I'm Kay Barron. So today we are joined by Miquita Oliver, who I've never met, but long admired.

  3. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:16

    Mm.

  4. Kay Barron· Host0:16

But I know you are friends with her.

  5. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:17

Yeah. She has the most amazing sense of style. And what I love is she's got a great eye for vintage, which isn't ... I don't really wear much vintage, but I love that about her, so I'm really excited to delve into it with her. What have you decided to wear for Miquita?

  6. Kay Barron· Host0:32

    Well, no vintage.

  7. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:33

    No.

  8. Kay Barron· Host0:33

I mean, vintage to me maybe now. But I've gone actually quite casual 'cause I feel like Miquita is quite that kind of cool, casual girl, jeans and a T-shirt, your signature- Yeah ... wardrobe.

  9. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:42

    Absolutely.

  10. Kay Barron· Host0:42

    Uh, jeans by TWP.

  11. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:44

Nice. They look great. I love the silhouette.

  12. Kay Barron· Host0:47

    Really good fit.

  13. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:47

    Mm.

  14. Kay Barron· Host0:48

Nice wide leg, high waist. And this black T-shirt is from COS. Um, and I love their boxy T-shirts that they do.

  15. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:55

    Mm.

  16. Kay Barron· Host0:55

And they're a really good weight with a slightly longer sleeve.

  17. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host0:58

Yeah, I like the dropped sleeve. It's gorgeous.

  18. Kay Barron· Host1:00

Yeah. That might just be 'cause it's slightly too big.

  19. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host1:01

    [laughs] It works.

  20. Kay Barron· Host1:02

    Either way, it works.

  21. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host1:03

    It works.

  22. Kay Barron· Host1:04

And then I re-pierced my ears- Ooh ... for Miquita today.

  23. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host1:07

Actually, I can see it. They're looking a bit inflamed.

  24. Kay Barron· Host1:09

[laughs] Well, if you do see, like, drippling down my neck- Oh, God. Do, do let me know. Um, so I hope that she appreciates it. But I am, I used to wear earrings a lot- Mm ... and they were little ones, but then I've gone back. These are by Eso.

  25. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host1:21

    Mm-hmm. Yeah, they're gorgeous.

  26. Kay Barron· Host1:22

I think that's how you say it. Um, and they're, they're gorgeous. And I think if you're just wearing jeans and a T-shirt, it just gives that- You need a little bit, yeah ... little bit of a lift.

  27. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host1:27

    Beautiful.

  28. Kay Barron· Host1:27

Um, you're wearing one of my favorite tops.

  29. Alice Casely-Hayford· Host1:29

    Really?
