I'm Stephanie, and today we are diving more into the Mackenzie Shirilla case because ever since watching The Crash on Netflix, I have since watched other documentaries. I'll tell you which ones in a little bit. But there's so much more to this story, and actually, I feel that Netflix almost painted Mackenzie in a more positive light, if you can believe that, because the other documentaries I watched really painted a fuller picture of who she really was. I have zero doubt in my mind that she isn't innocent. However, there are people online who are saying that she's innocent. They don't think she's guilty. They think this was all just a tragic accident. And this episode specifically is going to be focused on the text messages that have since come up in court records. These text messages have been obtained by People Magazine, TMZ, other media outlets. And these messages prove a lot. They prove that Mackenzie and Dominic were actually on the brink of a breakup shortly before the crash. They had an extremely, extremely toxic and vio- volatile relationship, even more so than I thought originally. Uh, we learn that Davion actually blocked Mackenzie just days before the crash. And we learn more about Mackenzie's history with depression because, as you guys remember, in the documentary, they say she wasn't suicidal because she
