Lusk Ridge Forest Trail, Part 1
5/31/202622 min
Off the Sibbald Trail, just west of Sibbald Meadows Pond, I found a small pull-over and hiking trail leading into the woods to explore. With just a few hours until my flight back for this first trip I decided to pop in for a quick listen, to hear what might be singing in this unnamed mountain forest.
(I still don't know a name for this trail, but it is part of the Lusk Ridge hills.)

Okay. It's my last day here for 2023. Just a little quick morning walk. Trying to find a good spot was a little difficult. Need something short, but obviously need some birds. I'm trying some roadside locations here. Off the Sibbald Trail, just west of Sibbald Meadows Pond, I found a small pullover and a hiking trail leading into the woods to explore. With just a few hours until my flight back for this first trip, I decided to pop in for a quick listen to hear what might be singing in this unnamed mountain forest. My name is Rylan, and this is Songbirding.
