And today, we're doing something a little bit different. We're answering your questions. So we asked our community to send in their biggest sewing questions, and you guys absolutely delivered. So we're gonna cover how to choose the right fabrics for summer sewing, how to stay on track with your seasonal sewing plan when shiny new patterns keep tempting you, and what to do when you're in the middle of a project and things just aren't going the way you hoped. So I think this is gonna be really fun. Let's start with our icebreaker for today, Haley. Tell me about a time when you asked someone for sewing advice and it completely changed how you approached something. So maybe it was a tip from, like, a mom or a friend or even a stranger in a fabric store.

Well, I'll tell you that my mom had zero helpful sewing advice. We had a seam ripper growing up.

Oh.

Um, and she used it to trim her cuticles.

And then when I learned- Ow. Yeah. Uh, it's disturbing. And then when I learned how to sew, I was like, "That's what that's for."

Um, okay, so the advice that really changed things for me was, it was not advice that was given to me directly. I was in a tailoring class- Mm-hmm ... and I was sitting next to my friend, and she asked the teacher a
