7/14/202613 min

In this first episode, host Corey Proffitt-Boyd introduces the podcast’s mission: practical, evidence-informed ways to improve everyday health by listening to your body. Drawing on years as a massage therapist, he highlights how pain and tension are messages, and how small consistent changes—sleep, movement, stress management, and massage—can meaningfully improve quality of life.

The episode closes with a simple invitation: pause for one minute to notice where you hold tension and begin building awareness—the first step toward feeling better.

Welcome to the very first episode of Feel Better Today. First of all, I want to thank you for being here. Whether you found this podcast because you've followed my work for years, or you simply stumbled across it while searching for ways to improve your health and well-being, I'm honored that you've decided to spend a little time with me today. Launching this podcast has been on my mind for quite a while because helping people feel better has been at the center of my career for many years. As a nationally board-certified massage therapist, I've had the privilege of working with thousands of people from all walks of life. Some have come to me because of chronic pain that just wouldn't seem to go away. Others were recovering from injuries, dealing with headaches, struggling to sleep, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the amount of stress they were carrying every day. Over time, I realized something that changed the way I think about health. Most people aren't searching for perfection. They're not trying to become elite athletes or biohack every minute of their day. Most people simply want to wake up without hurting so much. They want to have enough energy to enjoy time
