[waves crashing] It's a hot summer's day in July 1967 on Spain's southern coast. Today, the Costa del Sol is living up to its name. The shoreline is steeped in sunshine, brilliant rays glinting off the soft golden sand and azure waters of the Mediterranean. Brightly-colored fishing boats bob gently on the rolling waves, followed by flocks of gulls arcing and wheeling through the blue sky as they search for food. Along the miles of pristine beaches that make up this coastline, people relax on loungers or towels, basking in the beauty of their surroundings.
