En 1976, Alixe*, une étudiante toulousaine, voit son premier grand voyage basculer dans la terreur lors du détournement de son vol retour, Tel Aviv-Paris. Retenue en Ouganda par un commando armé, elle se retrouve au cœur d'une sélection d’otages où son destin ne tient qu'à un mot : sa religion.
