[rock music] Hello, and welcome along to this week's RTÉ Rugby podcast. sportpodcast@rte.ie if you want to get in touch with us. Bernard Jackman and Gareth Steenson are with me for this week's podcast, and plenty to get through. Leinster through to the URC final. They'll take on the Bulls in a rematch of last year's final. That'll be Friday week, the 19th of June, at Croke Park as well. Leinster, 2011 winners against the Stormers in a proper arm wrestle on Saturday afternoon. Andy Farrell has signed a new contract. There are coaching appointments at Munster. But Bernard and Gareth, I might start with, um, a, a bit of sad news, tough news in the last week or so in, in Irish rugby. Two, uh, two great losses in Irish rugby. First of all, last Thursday it was confirmed that legendary Irish back row Fergus Slattery died at the age of 77, and then on Monday it was announced that another former Ireland international and the, the long-term CEO of the IRFU, Philip Browne, passed away in his, uh, in his mid-60s. Um, two real, real tough, tough losses for, for Irish rugby. Obviously, Fergus Slattery a, a true legend of the game.
