Hello, sprouts. We are back for season two of Leaf It To Us. Join me, your host, Nora Sperling, and your favorite paleobotanist, Dr. Ally Baumgartner, for a whole new season of enthusiastic chats about plants. Our first episode drops on May 7th, just in time for spring. This season, I'm gonna be asking Ally questions like, what's a berry anyway? Uh, so you're telling me that an orange is a berry?

The weeds come in, and then they grow up, and you know, maybe shrubs come in, and they get a little taller, and then the trees come in, and that's when it starts really changing. This process can take years to even decades.
