  3. Chris Van Vliet· Host0:18

It is so good to see you. Welcome to the show.

  4. Layla· Guest0:21

Thank you for having me, Chris, thanks.

  5. Chris Van Vliet· Host0:23

We've been talking about doing this for a long time, but- Thru- how many years, two? Two, two-ish years. Basically, like, when you came back into the public eye again.

  6. Layla· Guest0:30

    Uh, yeah, about 2020- Yeah ... 4, 25, yeah.

  7. Chris Van Vliet· Host0:34

How does it feel being back out there again?

  8. Layla· Guest0:36

Um, it's, I, I, I'm enjoying it. It's different and, um, it, it's, I think 'cause I was gone for so long, so people, I think, expect me to look like I looked like when I was in, like, 2015, when I retired or. So it's been a little bit hard, like, getting used to social media and hearing, you know, "Oh, she looks different," or stuff like that, you know?

  9. Chris Van Vliet· Host0:54

I don't think you look that much different.

  10. Layla· Guest0:55

Uh, thank you. I, I do, I, I get it, though. I do get those comments. At first, it was a little bit like a sting, but now, now I'm just like, I'm, I'm kind of just enjoying it and, um, I'm glad that I took the break.

  11. Chris Van Vliet· Host1:05

Your break was almost 10 years.

  12. Layla· Guest1:07

    Yes.

  13. Chris Van Vliet· Host1:07

Right? You retired from WWE in 2015. What made you step away from everything?

  14. Layla· Guest1:13

Um, if you look back, like for me, I started, um, in 2006. So I was there, 2006 to bout 2015. I'd been there nine years, and I'd been traveling. Like, I was never like, like, a part-time talent. I was always, like, full-time. And, um, we worked a lot at that time, you know, in the past.
