And here we are in World Cup Corner with former US Men's National Team midfielder Dax McCarty, who's gonna be with us throughout the entire World Cup. I, of course, am Danny Parkins, and we are very excited that the World Cup is underway. As one of the co-host countries, Mexico up 2-0 on South Africa, looking pretty good in that opener there. We will get to the NBA finals in just a little bit, but a pretty impressive opener for Mexico. Dax, what did you think of their first impression?

Yeah, Danny, you're not gonna hear me say this often, but I want the US Men's National Team to take a page out of Mexico's book and start their game exactly how, uh, uh, Mexico started this game against South Africa. That's Erick Lira, the defensive midfielder for Mexico, stepping up, pressing high, suffocating South Africa, trying to play out of the back foolishly, and getting an early goal.
