[upbeat music] It's the Mike Francesa Podcast on the Betrivers Network. Hello again, everybody, and welcome to the Mike Francesa Podcast, part of the Betrivers Network, and just more of the same, uh, from the Knicks as they storm, and there's no other word to use, surge into the NBA finals for the first time since 1999. So for all the long-suffering Knick fans out there, and we heard from all of you forever, and we understand how long and painstaking it has been. So take a minute, take a day. Hey, take a week. You got a week. The NBA finals don't begin until Wednesday, uh, June 3rd, and they'll begin on the road. Um, and just enjoy that the Knicks will be playing in the NBA finals, will have a chance to win an NBA championship, uh, and dismiss all the other stuff, okay? Because what you're gonna start to hear now is the detractors are gonna come out to try and knock what the Knicks have done, which is silly, because what the Knicks has done has been ultra impressive, has been completely dominant. Has it been against the top, top, top competition in the NBA? No. No one's trying to say it has. The Knicks haven't said that. The Knicks have handled, I think, this dominant run very, very well.
