[upbeat music] Guys, I might be crying sometimes.
Mark Normand· Host0:07
Yeah.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:08
Just so you know.
Mark Normand· Host0:09
That's a perfect opening. [laughs] This could be a dramatic episode, or we might be drunk.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:14
Yeah.
Mark Normand· Host0:14
With Kevin Nealon.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:15
We bare it all.
Mark Normand· Host0:16
Dude, it's good to see you.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:18
Do you ever have anybody at a, uh... You go up to a bartender and say, "Dude, you over-served me." [laughs] Is that, like, the weakest kind of, like, excuse for being drunk and out of control? The bartender over-served me.
Mark Normand· Host0:30
Ha.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:31
You know what I mean?
Mark Normand· Host0:32
Yeah, no, I've never had that.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:32
You can't do that to a waiter. You know, like, "Hey, dude, you over-served me, man. I gained, like, two pounds." [laughs] "What are you gonna do about it?"
Mark Normand· Host0:38
I have a... People complain when the drink is too stiff.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:41
Oh, yeah.
Mark Normand· Host0:43
That's like when the bartender's like, "I'm hooking you up" and you're like- Right ... "The drink tastes like shit."
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:47
That's me, man, when I bartended. I used to bartend at The Improv.
Mark Normand· Host0:49
Really?
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:50
Yeah, yeah. For two years.
Mark Normand· Host0:51
What years?
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:52
Uh, 1980.
Mark Normand· Host0:53
Whoa.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:53
Holy shit, man. Yeah, I'd see everybody come in there, Robin Williams, Andy Kaufman.
Mark Normand· Host0:57
Wow.
Kevin Nealon· Guest0:57
But I, I had never bartended before, but I befriended the, uh, the regular bartender. He goes, "Hey, you want to work?" I said, "Yeah, but I never bartended." So I got one of those Boston bartender guides, and I kept it under the, uh, bar. I thought the more alcohol you put in it, like the college mentality, they would love it.
Mark Normand· Host1:13
Right.
Kevin Nealon· Guest1:14
But a lot of times they'd come back, "Hey, can you give me another glass, like, full of, like, uh, soda water?" [laughs] "Make this a regular drink." They're mixing the drink. Yeah, yeah.
Mark Normand· Host1:23
Who was the biggest drunk back then?
Kevin Nealon· Guest1:25
Mm, oh, you
