JTG MINI: "When I say bodies, I mean the slush that was left." The woman who lost her family in the Titan sub disaster.

4/28/202637 min

Christine Dawood gave up her seat on the OceanGate Titan sub, so her 19-year-old son Suleman could see the Titanic. Just hours later, Suleman and his father Shahzada were dead. Three years on from the disaster that killed both of them, along with OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, Christine has published a book called 'Ninety-Six Hours - A Mother's Search For The Lost Titan Sub', and given a heartbreaking interview to The Guardian about what really happened in the hours after the Titan imploded. This is Just The Gist (MINI) of Christine Dawood: the OceanGate Titan disaster, Shahzada and Suleman Dawood, Stockton Rush, the seat she gave up, and the four days she waited at sea for news she didn't want to hear.
