From prepaying debt to funding a sovereign LEO satellite constellation, building a homegrown AI agent called Hey Jio, and exporting its indigenous 5G stack to global operators, Jio's ambitions are staggering. [upbeat music] Jio Platforms has filed for what could become the biggest IPO in Indian capital market history. The company is expected to raise up to $4 billion, or over 37,700 crore rupees, which would dwarf LIC's 21,000 crore rupees IPO in 2022. But here's the important detail. This is not an exit IPO. The initial filing document, or the draft red herring prospectus says, it is a fresh issue of up to 27 crore shares with no offer for sale. That means existing investors are not selling. Their stakes will come down only because of dilution. Now, those investors, that cap table is the real story. Reliance Industries owns 66.4% of Jio platforms. The remaining one-third is held by a global roster of 13 tech and financial giants: Meta, Google, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, KKR, Silver Lake, Mubadala, Vista Equity Partners, General Atlantic, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, or ADIA-backed entities, TPG, Intel, Qualcomm, and L Catterton.
