Jeff Jarrett and The Rise & Fall, and Rise Again of TNA
7/8/20261 hr 7 min
Jeff Jarrett and Dark Side Of The Ring co-creator Evan Husney breakdown the brand-new three-part Dark Side Of The Ring story about TNA Wrestling! They discuss why the TNA story grew from two episodes to three, how they got Jeff Jarrett involved, and what he brought to the production in addition to his emotional story. Jeff reveals what surprised him most after watching the finished series, and the first thing his wife Karen said to him after she binged it. Jeff revisits his infamous WWE exit that ended with Vince McsMahon personally handing him a check before he dropped the Intercontinental Championship, the final days of WCW, launching TNA from scratch with his father, Jerry, bringing in Kurt Angle, and eventually being pushed out of the company. He remembers Bob Carter, and his daughter Dixie’s initial involvement, how he convinced Bob to sign Kurt Angle, and later, Hulk Hogan to TNA, and how Vince Russo came into the mix. Jeff explains what made him return to TNA, and why he truly didn’t want to see Dixie Carter fail. He and Evan also discuss why Dixie chose not to participate in Dark Side Of The Ring, who provided some lost, unseen footage in the ninth hour that saved the day, Scott Steiner's emotional interview, and why there was simply too much TNA history to fit into a single episode.
Dark Side of the Ring Season 7 is streaming now on VICE TV.

Living in Florida, I can tell you, trying to sleep when it's hot and humid outside is brutal. And when you're constantly training, traveling and performing like I am, recovery matters. If your sleep sucks, you're leaving performance on the table, and that's why I wanna tell you about ChiliPAD 2.0, the most advanced version yet of the bed cooling system built specifically for people who refuse to half-ass their recovery. ChiliPAD 2.0 is a water-based mattress topper that precisely controls your sleep temperature from 55 to 115 degrees. It works with your existing mattress, no new bed needed. And honestly, I've been sleeping way better since I started using it. No more waking up overheated in the middle of the night. The new 2.0 has a quieter redesigned dock, a washable waterproof cover, and the nightstand remote is awesome. Each side of the bed gets its own thermostat, and sensors automatically trigger your sleep schedule when you get into bed. That's intelligent recovery. Visit www.sleep.me/jericho to get up to $255 off your ChiliPAD 2.0 with code Jericho. This special offer is available for Talk Is Jericho listeners, and only for a limited time. Order it today with free shipping and try it out for 30 days. You can return it for free if you don't like it with their sleep trial.
