Jana Kramer: Healing Trauma, Trusting Yourself & Saying No

4/20/20261 hr 22 min

People think healing means you’re “over it”… but real healing is learning how to face it when it comes back.

In this episode, Jana Kramer opens up about surviving abuse, reliving trauma through acting, and the daily work it takes to trust yourself again.

From setting boundaries to choosing family over opportunity, this conversation is a powerful reminder that growth isn’t perfect, but it’s necessary.

Key Takeaways
-Abuse conditions you to doubt your own reality and instincts

-Trusting yourself again is one of the hardest—and most important—parts of healing

-You don’t have to explain every decision—“no” can be a complete answer

-If it’s not a “hell yes,” it should be a no

-Saying no to opportunities is sometimes necessary to protect what matters most

-Your past trauma is valid—don’t compare it to others
