Is Trump Planning to Invade Cuba?
5/20/20261 hr 35 min
Tommy and Ben dig into a week dominated by ominous signs of regime change, nuclear standoffs, and a “historic” summit that left almost everyone disappointed.
First they cover the signs pointing to American intervention in Cuba, including reports of Cuban drones, a possible indictment of 94-year-old Raúl Castro, a visit by CIA director John Ratcliffe, and a full blockade that has left the island in a state of humanitarian catastrophe. Then they look to Bolivia, where supporters of former President Evo Morales have blockaded roads and clashes with police are escalating. When it comes to the war in Iran, the global economy remains paralyzed by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, while Trump vacillates on whether to restart the war or engage in real talks. The guys also recap Trump's China trip, which turned out to be a dud by almost every measure — no trade deal, no help on Iran, and some deeply alarming comments about Taiwan. And finally, Tommy and Ben are subjected to the sounds of Eurovision. Then Tommy is joined by Pod Save the UK host Nish Kumar to discuss the fate of Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Labour Party, and the troubling rise of the right-wing Reform UK party. Check out Nish’s special, Don’t Kill My Vibe.
For Friends of the Pod, the boys answer questions about multi-party systems and Obama’s pivot to Asia.

Pod Save The World is brought to you by Remi. That a lot of listeners, uh, especially to this show, have woken up in the morning where your jaw hurts and your teeth have been clenched and maybe even grinding them, and you just have this, like, stress-induced headache right when you wake up, which is not a great way to wake up.
Speaker 20:14
No. Happens to me all the time.
Tommy Vietor· Host0:15
It's terrible, and it used to happen to me all the time, literally for years, until I found Remi, which, um, I, I purchased and have been using for, like, five years now, like, long before they were a sponsor on the show. And what Remi does, uh, is they create you a custom night guard, and they've done it for, like, 350,000 Americans. Remi night guards are the only FDA-cleared and clinically tested at home impression kit guards on the market. Not only do they prevent teeth damage from grinding, but they also help reduce jaw tension and facial muscle strain, and they improve your sleep quality. You literally sleep better. You get the same professional quality and comfort as a night guard from the dentist but for 80% less of the cost by taking your own impression from your home. So what you do is you... The Remi saves the impression, so you can, uh, just get a new one whenever you need them, every six months, both the top and the bottom night guard, like, whatever you want. So here's how it works. You buy it online. They send this impression kit right to your door. You basically, like, mix up this little putty, put it on some thing. You put it in your mouth for five minutes, then you send that back to them, and they custom create you a night guard and mail it to your house. Bada bing, bada boom.

You're done.
Tommy Vietor· Host1:20
No more jaw pain. It really is, like, so easy, and, uh, if you're like me, you hate very few things in life more than going to the dentist. Uh- It's the worst ... and so
