  1. Seth· Host0:00

[upbeat music] Hello everyone, and welcome to episode 593 of the MTG Goldfish podcast. I'm Seth, probably better known as SaffronOlive, and we have the full crew here this week, kicking things off with the owner of MTG Goldfish, Richard. How are you this fine Monday, Richard?

  2. Richard· Host0:22

Good morning, Seth. I know it's Marvel Superheroes, but I couldn't make it out to pre-release, so I played Final Fantasy flashback drafts instead and whoa, it's so good. [laughs] It's so good.

  3. Seth· Host0:35

You know when we talk about why, like, maybe local game stores aren't doing that hot or anything, I think that is the perfect example, that it's a pre-release weekend and, and you can stay home and draft an amazing set on Arena in your underwear.

  4. Richard· Host0:47

I, I would've went, but we, we, we could not get childcare, Seth.

  5. Seth· Host0:50

    Ah. Mm, mm.

  6. Richard· Host0:50

I need Crim's childcare LGS, right?

  7. Seth· Host0:53

Very much so can't have Richard leave the house.

  8. Richard· Host0:56

So I, I, I actually wanted to go- Honestly ... to play superheroes. I'd poo up the walls, you know, cry all the day long and yeah.

  9. Seth· Host1:02

Honestly, with the average Magic player apparently being 35, I'm surprised that's not a thing. A LGS in a big city that actually provided childcare so you could go in, like, F&M or whatever and have your kids taken care of, that would probably work. [laughs] Anyway, uh, we got another co-host in, Crim. Good morning, Crim. How's it going today?

  10. Crim· Host1:20

Oh, it's going great. This past weekend, my, uh, my event absurdly packed. It w- the vibes were insanely
