Irish rugby braced for bumper Bilbao weekend | Ireland make their Aviva mark

Neil Treacy is joined by Bernard Jackman and Johne Murphy to look ahead to this weekend's Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup finals in Bilbao, while Hannah O'Connor recaps Ireland's big finish to the Guinness Women's Six Nations.

    [rock music] Hello, and welcome along to the RTE Rugby Podcast. Sportpodcast@rte.ie for your emails. It's Champions Cup and Challenge Cup final weeks in Bilbao, and Irish interest in both games. Ulster taking on Montpellier on Friday evening at San Mamés in the Challenge Cup decider, 8:00 PM kickoff, and they have to win to secure a Champions Cup spot for next season. Then on Saturday afternoon, Leinster against Bordeaux Bègles in the Champions Cup decider, 2:45 PM start. Leinster back at the scene of their 2018 title win, four final defeats since then. We'll also be recapping the win- Women's Six Nations, as usual, with Hannah O'Connor.

    Um, yeah. It's, uh, not too bad. Uh, walking down the stairs the last couple of days hasn't been that enjoyable. Um, and, uh, my toes are actually the worst. I'm probably gonna lose three or four toenails. So, um, outside of that, uh, grand. But look, we raised a huge amount of money. Um, we're gonna raise probably, between the offline stuff, over €25,000, around kinda 22 and a half, uh, sterling. Um, and I suppose with the news coming out of Australia this morning that, uh, Jay Arrow's been diagnosed with MND, you know, he's only 30 years of age, he's played
