    US President Donald Trump has canceled a trip to Islamabad by two US envoys. Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner were set to meet with Pakistani mediators for Iran peace talks. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had earlier left Islamabad without signs of a breakthrough. Tehran has ruled out a new round of direct talks with the United States. An Iranian diplomatic source said they would not accept Washington's, quote, "maximalist demands." Trump, in a social media post, said that he had called off the planned visit, citing what he called infighting and confusion among Iranian leadership. Writing on Truth Social, quote, "Nobody knows who is in charge, including them."
