Interview 16: Brandon

Hey, everybody. For my final interview, I'm gonna be, uh, having you guys interview me from online. Uh, I did one by myself, uh, but it seemed i- ingenuine and insincere. Uh, so I wanted you guys to ask me questions so it was a little bit more sincere. But I didn't get that many responses, which is fine. But I did get some, so I'll kinda just be, uh, I don't know, giving a description on me. Um, so let's get that started. The first one comes from Tracy on Instagram, and she asked, "Do you come up with new characters specifically for an episode or season, or do you come up with those on the fly and then work them in?" Um, both. [laughs] Sometimes I'll have an idea and, uh, you know, like let's just say I go to a massage parlor or something. Uh, I will workshop the massage therapist character. Um, I'll figure out who I want him to be. Do I want him to be loud and obnoxious? Do I want him to be quiet and stupid? Uh, kinda like the, um, the lie detector test guy who talked really quiet like this. That one was workshopped beforehand. Like, I just happened to whisper to a friend, like, you know... And so she couldn't hear me, and she started laughing, and that's kinda how I figure out if I got a character. If she laughs at something I do, usually I'll try to work it in. Um, and then it was, like, a matter of figuring out where to put him, and I was like, "Okay, he can be the lie detector guy." Other people, I'm just recording and I'm like, "Well, I need to go into this place, so I need to come up with a character." And that's usually when you'll hear the
