    Hey, everybody. Brandon here. Welcome back to The Mysteries of Derlin County. Um, as I'm taking a break for the summer, I wanted to, uh, peel back the curtain a little bit. Recently I posted a video just taking you around, uh, my neighborhood and, you know, where I record my sound effects, and it got a nice little, um... I don't know what I'm trying to say here. You seemed interested [laughs], so I figured I'd tape it... Tape it. Goddammit, now I can't talk. I figured I'd take it, uh, to an- an- the next level up. Uh, I've recently sent out letters to all of you and, uh, you know, had a lot of fun doing that. And I think one of the problems with our society today is that we don't talk to one another enough anymore. Um, you know, everything that comes out, every new advancement seems to be a new way to, to keep you in your house and prevent you from going out into the world, and I think along with a lot of that, we're losing contact with one another and the ability to communicate, at least in a cordial, friendly manner. We live in a world that's divided, and it's like every year that goes, it- the division is just widened and the wedge is dug in deeper and deeper and deeper. And so I wanted to do my part in trying to bridge that gap once more. Um, uh, it's a small part. You know, this show's small. Um, but there's- it's a place to start, right? And
