    Well, thank you for joining me. Um, you're coming to us from, uh, New York City, but you're an LA guy originally. Is that correct?

    Originally, yeah. I'm born and raised in LA, moved to New York in 2024, uh, for school.

    New York, New York is, is fun, and there's of course a, a tons of energy there and, uh, a lot of great talented musicians, of course, too. So you have a, uh, a single that was just recently released March 6th called "Hold Your Keys." That's from your debut album, 'cause I think you had a actual EP out before, correct?

    Right, right, right, right. This is my first, um, studio recorded album, uh, project, so.

    And then your, yeah, your full album, the debut album, The Carpet Maker, comes out May 15th, so that's coming up. That's not too far away. Such a cool album. I was checking out, um, Hold Your Keys and, and some of the other tracks, and I love the sound because it's a mixture of cultures and vibes. Tell me about, uh, how you approached writing this album, 'cause it's different than your, your other tracks that you've released previously.
