[upbeat music] Hello and welcome to this edition of The Golf Show podcast with Rex and Lav. Well, folks, we have so much to get to in this Monday morning edition. That's right, we did not come to you on Sunday evening for a multitude of reasons. We had some technical difficulties, we had some logistical challenges, and Rex, you nearly did not get into the country where you are in Canada. You were covering the RBC Canadian Open, and you were also qual- uh, you're also at the final qualifying site, uh, today in Canada. I'm in Georgia. We'll get to that, uh, in a second. How was your evening? How was your evening of travel?
Rex Hoggard· Host0:36
There was only one flight from Orlando to Canada. I tried to jump on an earlier flight so we didn't have those technical difficulties, so we could've bought everyone our fine show on Monday morning on linear and Gary, uh, Williams didn't have to work an extra hour, which he complained about incessantly over those three hours. However, it just didn't work out, uh, travel-wise. It's not an easy place to get to, apparently, from Orlando to Toronto. Who knew? I'm, I'm gonna say this. I've come to Canada the last couple of years. I think I covered the Canadian Open two years ago, as well as this qualifier. I think I've covered it before. I mean, this is probably about a dozen times over the course of my career I've, I've come to the fine country of Canada and our friends to the north. This was by far the most difficult, the most troublesome I've ever had getting into the country. It doesn't seem like they want Americans in their country right now. I gotta be honest with you.
Ryan Lavner· Host1:22
And why do you think, and why do you think that is?
Rex Hoggard· Host1:23
I ca- I couldn't even venture a guess.
Ryan Lavner· Host1:25
Hmm.
Rex Hoggard· Host1:25
I couldn't even venture a guess, but there's, uh, there's a lot of hoops to jump through. I think I just told you before we came
