Immersive Spanish: San Sebastián
In this season, Kav explores San Sebastián while guiding you through powerful Spanish patterns that unlock countless new words. Instead of conversations, you’ll learn by listening, responding, and filling in speaking gaps, giving you time to think, speak, and build sentences naturally.
The focus is on understanding how Spanish works, so you can say more with confidence and less effort.
Follow along with bonus lessons and transcripts on Patreon to reinforce the patterns and practise speaking even more.

Season six, episode 17. Excelente. Nuevo día en el paraíso. After yesterday, the hike, the surf competition, the sunset, the long walk home, I slept incredibly well. Dormí muy pero muy bien. This morning, I'm walking through Cristina Enea, which is a beautiful park here in San Sebastián, right by the river. It's one of those classic old city parks with, you know, tall trees, gravel paths, little benches, and even a café right in the middle. Acabo de comprar un café con leche en la cafetería. And I'm walking along one of the paths, watching the world go by. Hoy es domingo. Today is Sunday. So as you can imagine, the park is full of families. Families everywhere. Have we ever learned how to talk about families in Spanish? Hmm. ¿Me dices que no? Ay, ay, ay. Es hora de enseñarte. Let's start with the word family. Familia. La familia. Very similar to English. La familia. Say it in a funny mob-style voice if you want. La familia.
