Hello, and welcome to the Theater Girl podcast. Before we get into episode one, I just wanted to take the time to either introduce myself or reintroduce myself to those of you that already know me. A lot of you guys might know me from my last podcast, where we talked about reality TV and pop culture, but before I got involved in that, I was and always will be and always have been a theater girl. I grew up doing theater throughout all of my childhood, throughout high school, throughout college. I even at some point in my life considered doing it professionally several times until life rerouted me in different directions. That's actually kind of how I got involved in podcasting. During the pandemic, obviously, there were no auditions happening, no live performances happening, and I was really struggling with not having a creative outlet, which is how I fell into podcasting
