[upbeat music] Hi, everyone. It's the Prestige Junkie Podcast. I am Katie Rich. Today, we're talking more television with the person who I like to talk about television with more than anybody else.

  2. Joanna Robinson· Guest0:12

    Oh, my God.

  3. Katey Rich· Host0:13

It's Joanna Robinson of The Ringer.

  4. Joanna Robinson· Guest0:15

Hi, Katie. [laughs] Oh, my gosh. What a good compliment.

  5. Katey Rich· Host0:17

I mean, we've been doing it for a long time, and truly when it comes to TV, I turn to you often because, as we will discuss, you have seen things before me- Mm ... and can give me the tip. And today, I've kind of turned to you to go back in time in Emmy season a little bit and talk about a lot of the shows that premiered in the fall earlier this year that I haven't gotten to, or maybe other people haven't gotten to, that are not brand new, but are a big part of this Emmy race.

  6. Joanna Robinson· Guest0:41

    Yeah.

  7. Katey Rich· Host0:42

So we're gonna talk about a lot of shows. Buckle up, everybody. We're also gonna talk about some new Oscar rules that dropped as we were recording this. It's breaking news as- Yeah ... you are hearing this. It's a little bit in the past. And then after all of that, uh, my pal, my colleague Chris Rosen is gonna come back. He has a conversation with two of the stars of Industry, Marisa Abela and Myha'la. So he'll be back in a minute to introduce that with me. But for now, it's me and Joanna and a lot of TV. Welcome to the show. [upbeat music] Okay, Joanna, I invited you here with this laundry list of TV shows to talk about, which gives us plenty to get into, and then I opened my inbox, and I, I think I literally gasped because- You did.

  8. Joanna Robinson· Guest1:22

    You did ...

  9. Katey Rich· Host1:22

    [laughs] I know ...

  10. Joanna Robinson· Guest1:22

with, with, like, with glee. And- I know ... and I will say, if I'm the person you enjoy talking about TV with the most, you are the person I enjoy
