[applause] All right, guys, this is gonna be great. Super excited to have, uh, have you here. Um, how, how long did the process of, uh, getting this together- Uh, a couple years ... like, once you committed, like, "We're doing it"- Yeah ... then what?
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:15
Um, I think it was about a year- Yeah ... to put it together.
Josh Brown· Host0:18
Okay.
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:19
And then, you know, the book industry is slow.
Josh Brown· Host0:21
Yes.
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:22
So it takes a year from submission- Yeah ... to publication.
Josh Brown· Host0:26
There's like three drafts back and f- I've, I did four books.
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:29
Yeah.
Josh Brown· Host0:30
I think it's enough. I, I think I'm done.
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:32

Matt Ancrum· Guest0:39
There's an editorial committee, and there's an academic committee.
Josh Brown· Host0:43

Matt Ancrum· Guest0:44
They take it seriously.
Josh Brown· Host0:45
Like, they read everything?
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:46
Yes.
Josh Brown· Host0:46
Okay.
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:47

Josh Brown· Host0:55
Okay.
Matt Ancrum· Guest0:55
And so many people will write stuff now, and there's very little oversight, you know?
Josh Brown· Host1:01
Yeah, that's right.
Matt Ancrum· Guest1:01
There's copy editing. Uh- [laughs] Yeah, that's true ... but you know what you're talking about. [laughs] You invented Halo.
Josh Brown· Host1:07
That's true. It's very, it's very true that I did do that. Uh, the thing with the book that threw me was I write about markets, and I write in- Mm-hmm ... I write in present tense, and then they're like, "Okay, we got your manuscript. Be back to you in a few months." And I'm like, "All right, great, I'll just rewrite everything I wrote to..." [laughs] [laughs] Because the whole world will have changed by then.
Matt Ancrum· Guest1:29
Yeah.
Josh Brown· Host1:29
