With just 10 days to go, Treasurer Jim Chalmers is putting the final touches the budget.
Dr Chalmers has made clear productivity is a priority for this term of parliament. So who better to ask about the upcoming budget than the Productivity Commission.

Apparently, some of the final decisions are still being made, so it's not too late for some last-minute advice in the ear of Treasurer Jim Chalmers. And someone we know he listens to and respects, because he appointed her to this job, is the Chair of the Productivity Commission, Danielle Wood. And given the Treasurer has made it clear that boosting productivity is one of his priorities for this term of Parliament and this budget, well, who better to talk to than the Productivity Commissioner herself about what the government should and shouldn't be doing?
