When it comes to Trump, I didn't want to say he was, like, the best ever, this, that, but he was the obvious choice in, in the 2024 election. Imagine if Kamala got in. It wouldn't have stopped.

  2. Sean Kelly· Host0:08

We'd be overrun, and the censorship would've been so bad.

  3. Beau Robinson· Guest0:10

So bad. Gavin Newsom's the worst, man. I've gotten death threats off one interview. But that was the big one where I started to get a lot of death threats. Because people made some of these clips go viral, and people sought me out. My Instagram private messages is full of people wanting to kill me or calling me a loser.

  4. Sean Kelly· Host0:24

[camera clicking] Okay, guys. Got Beau on today. You'd call yourself a comedian, right?

  5. Beau Robinson· Guest0:31

    Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  6. Sean Kelly· Host0:32

Diving into politics now a little.

  7. Beau Robinson· Guest0:33

    Exactly.

  8. Sean Kelly· Host0:34

    Yeah.

  9. Beau Robinson· Guest0:34

Political co-comedy's actually where I started everything. I was making, uh, jokes on this thing called The Update You Didn't Ask For, where I was doing political jokes on headlines.

  10. Sean Kelly· Host0:42

    Mm.

  11. Beau Robinson· Guest0:42

So it'd be something like, uh, "Hunter Biden," or excuse me, "The White House is bl-," oh, "The White House wants to reduce climate change by blocking out the sun." I'm like, "I agree. He's dropping cocaine all over the place." So things like that, and, uh, and that didn't take off. I think, like, Facebook and Meta was a little different back then. Um, I think they were actually, uh, punishing people for mentioning political viewpoints- Oh, for sure ... people disagreed with, so they kept your, your profile pretty low. But it's nice to actually watch Facebook open up these last several months or year and a half, right?

  12. Sean Kelly· Host1:10

Yeah. Facebook and Instagram have been nice to me- Yeah ... compared to the other platforms.

  13. Beau Robinson· Guest1:14

    Yeah.

  14. Sean Kelly· Host1:15

I've- X has been good, too. X is good since Elon took over.

  15. Beau Robinson· Guest1:18

    Mm-hmm.

  16. Sean Kelly· Host1:18

But TikTok is so bad right now.

  17. Beau Robinson· Guest1:20

It is, and even now they've... It's weird how we've gone into a new kind of censorship, especially with the Republican Party. Now they're censoring w- what I would say is any sort of anti-Jewish sentiment.
