And we're just gonna reflect on a game that kinda needs no introduction. It needs no recap, really. It was truly extraordinary in the Azteca, which you can see behind us if you're watching on YouTube. Just an amazing evening. A privilege to witness it, a privilege to bring it live to you on TalkSPORT. Just one of those unforgettable nights, and arguably the number one unforgettable England game that we've ever worked on together. Stuart Pearce, first of all, the main thing is England are through. What an effort it was. There was a lot of quality, but there was also a lot of hard work.

There was. Uh, the game had everything from England's point of view. It had, it had quality, it had good goals, it had counterattack, and a defensive rear guard action to see the game out when we went down to 10 men. I mean, myself and Jim just didn't know which way to turn. We didn't know what was coming next, what was coming at us, and w- I think that squad need to be immensely proud of themselves for that result and that performance.
