Do you see what we did there? Maybe not...
This episode begins with Kara detailing her impromptu, "red-eye" drive to Minnesota, and the sleepy aftermath. Then, you get a proper pet update with fun stories from both Des and Kara on their furry and not-so-furry animals. If you are watching the YouTube, you get a Boston sighting!
Kara and Des also give their takes on the Netflix documentary called The Crash about a teenager in Florida who was convicted of murder for intentionally driving her car into a wall, killing her boyfriend and his friend. T...

[upbeat music] What's up, everybody? Welcome to another episode of Nobody Asked Us with Des and Kara, presented by Brooks Running. How's it going, Kara?
Kara Goucher· Host0:17
Hey, Des. It's good. [laughs] I was telling you before, I'm a little bit wrecked, but other than that- A little bit wrecked ... I'm great. Yeah.
Des Linden· Host0:24
What... Do, tell more.
Kara Goucher· Host0:26
Okay. So- Can you just leave us with that? So, you might notice I'm in Minnesota.
Des Linden· Host0:29
Yeah.
Kara Goucher· Host0:29
And we were gonna leave Friday morning. We were, like, we're leaving at 5:00 AM. We're packing up the car the night before, everything but, like, our backpacks.
Des Linden· Host0:37
Uh-huh.
Kara Goucher· Host0:38
And we're packing up the car and I go, "We should just leave right now."
Des Linden· Host0:41
Hmm.
Kara Goucher· Host0:42
And Colt's like, "Yeah, yeah. Let's do it." And Adam's like- Colt? ... "I don't know. Like, that's not a very good idea." And then we loaded everything up, so everything but, like, our backpacks and their bike rack. And then I'm like, "Well, what do you think?" And Adam's like, "Well, I mean, I guess. Like, you guys seem to want to do this adventure." So instead of leaving at 5:00 AM, we left at 9:30 PM.
Des Linden· Host0:59
Okay.
Kara Goucher· Host1:00
And originally they were like, "You s- you sleep." Like, I, honestly, I'm a contact person, so I need my eyes to rest for a moment.
Des Linden· Host1:08
Yeah.
Kara Goucher· Host1:08
And my glasses aren't as strong as my contacts, so I don't feel comfortable driving 80 miles an hour in my glasses. So I was like, "Okay. Colt's gonna drive, then Adam's gonna drive. I'm gonna take out my contacts."
Des Linden· Host1:16
Oh, you got a third driver this year. Okay.
Kara Goucher· Host1:17
I'm gonna have, yeah, I'm gonna have a little rest. But then I have this, like, fucking complex where I'm like, "No, I have to stay awake. Like, I have to be able to talk to them. I can't sleep. Like, that's not fair." So Colt drove for, like, two hours.
