  1. Jane Garvey· Host0:00

[upbeat music] Ah, welcome to Wednesday's edition of Off Air with Jane and Fi. Now, before we get going, I just want to just make a brief announcement about Peter B. She's-- writes about healthy living for The Times.

  2. Fi Glover· Host0:18

    She certainly does.

  3. Jane Garvey· Host0:19

Yeah. Uh, so it's normally, you know, a couple of spoonfuls of yogurt and some seeds. Um, highly recommended by Peter, who's a very, very healthy woman, extremely fit. She-- I just-- She's got a list of things we should be eating over the summer, so I'll just, just outline. Just, just say so people can just fill their boots with the following. Radishes.

  4. Fi Glover· Host0:37

    Not really.

  5. Jane Garvey· Host0:40

[chuckles] Okay, I'll g- I'll speed up. Uh, watermelon.

  6. Fi Glover· Host0:43

    Yes.

  7. Jane Garvey· Host0:43

Yeah, but it's something and nothing. Grapes.

  8. Fi Glover· Host0:46

    Yeah. Yes.

  9. Jane Garvey· Host0:47

    Red leaves.

  10. Fi Glover· Host0:48

    Red leaves? What? Red leaves?

  11. Jane Garvey· Host0:50

    Red leaves.

  12. Fi Glover· Host0:50

    What? Like radicchio?

  13. Jane Garvey· Host0:51

Okay, I, I did-- I, I think that's it, but I can't pronounce it, so I'll leave it to you.

  14. Fi Glover· Host0:54

    Yeah. Okay. Yep.

  15. Jane Garvey· Host0:55

    Uh, berries.

  16. Fi Glover· Host0:56

    Yes.

  17. Jane Garvey· Host0:57

No, not keen. Uh, dark tomatoes.

  18. Fi Glover· Host0:59

Oh, yes. No, I love those. I don't think they taste any better than I'd prefer the taste of red tomatoes, but they look, they look highly pretentious on the plate.

  19. Jane Garvey· Host1:06

    Watercress.

  20. Fi Glover· Host1:07

    Yeah.

  21. Jane Garvey· Host1:09

    And rhubarb.

  22. Fi Glover· Host1:09

Okay. Well, I think those are all reasonable.

  23. Jane Garvey· Host1:12

And I've added to the bottom of the list, bagels.

  24. Fi Glover· Host1:14

Bagels, okay. So are you going to go and buy all of these? Uh- Um- -because it would be helpful for your new- [chuckles] Health regime ...lower my blood pressure diet.

  25. Jane Garvey· Host1:24

I haven't heard back from the GP yet, so I'm obviously not- Oh, so you must be okay. Well, I don't know. I did ring, and they were very apologetic. They said, "Oh, yeah.
