We, last week, we covered the session, um, or we finished our session on the coverage of the topic of the infancy and the fostering of the Prophet 'Alayhi Salatu Salam. And we got to the point where we spoke about the fostering process and how it was, uh, it was normal, it was typical, and it was something that was done with young, uh, children in the desert, that they would be fostered by families who would take them out and raise them. Bedouin families would take them and raise them in the desert. And there was a couple reasons for this. We talked about sort of like the, the, [lips smack] um, you know, the social normativeness of it was that it would develop their language. They wouldn't be, uh, exposed to as many diseases, right, in the city. And someone even came up to me afterwards last week and asked like, "Why would they do that?" And the reality is that there were some practices that were done that were just kind of like practical, right? They were, they were simply practical. You, you take a kid out in the middle of the desert for this reason. But there were also some cognitive, right, some intellectual, and also some spiritual points as to why this was important for the development of children, let a-- And they looked out the window and they stared.
