A young Sydney mom mauled by a shark at Coogee Beach has spoken her first words after briefly waking from an induced coma. 34-year-old teacher Lea Stewart told her mother and partner, "I love you," 10 days after the suspected great white shark attack. Her brother Josh wrote on an online fundraising page, "Lea's first thoughts were with her daughter, August." The mom has spent a week on life support and about five days undergoing surgeries, including an arm amputation, with more to come. While she remains fighting for her life in hospital, tensions regarding sharks off Sydney's coast continue. A drone video circulating on social media showed what appeared to be a shark close to the shore at Bondi Beach. Aussie customers are being warned about the traps they face when signing up for car loans. The corporate watchdog, ASIC, published a report on the motor vehicle finance sector after noticing a rise in complaints. The report cites big variations in car loan costs and lenders repossessing cars after declining hardship assistant requests.
