Why do I immediately result to trying to defend myself, manipulate a situation, change your feelings, trying to control your feelings, to get you to see me for what my motives were, not necessarily what I did? My motives weren't bad, but my motives don't matter 'cause they hurt you. And so now we're fighting over my motives and not the hurt.
