[upbeat music] Hey, I'm Taylor Strano with you for a quickie news update. TV presenter Karl Stefanovic will leave Nine and is negotiating the terms of his exit. Here's everything you need to know. Now, this all comes after his podcast interview with anti-immigration activist Tommy Robinson sparked a full day of executive crisis talks. According to multiple media reports, the network decided to cut ties with its longstanding breakfast show presenter on Wednesday following the release of a now-deleted interview with the British anti-Islam figure that landed Stefanovic in hot water with his employer. The host of the Nine Network's flagship Today Show interviewed Robinson in an almost hour-long episode of The Karl Stefanovic Show, which is run independently of Nine. As part of the interview, Stefanovic said he admired his guest's tenacity and courage, introducing him as one of Britain's most controversial figures. The podcast episode was originally published on Tuesday evening, but it was pulled down the following morning. However, the episode was resurrected on YouTube by Pauline Hanson, who Robinson praises several times during the interview. Earlier on Wednesday, Nine made its strongest statement about Stefanovic's contentious foray into podcasting, saying it was taking his most recent episode seriously. Speaking
