We're talking about breaking bad habits and making good habits. We said last night you can break up with a bad habit just like you can break up with a bad boyfriend. [laughs] Now, the thing is, is you know if that bad boyfriend's the only boyfriend you got, even though he was making you unhappy, you're still gonna miss him for a while. Right. Isn't it amazing how even though things are bad for us, if we get them out of our life, there's still a part of us that misses them- For a while ... for a while. And that's the part that we just have to kind of go through while we're giving God a chance to be God in our lives. They say that you can make or break a habit. One group says 21 days. One says 30 days. I always heard 30 days, but I know from my own experience that if you can manage to do something consistently for 30 days, or if you can manage to not do something consistently for 30 days, you have pretty much formed a new habit. And when you have a habit of something, it's very often something that you do without even realizing that you're doing it. We've all got silly little habits.
