You there, with the illness. [laughs] [laughs] If you can stand, stand there.

  2. Maria McErlane· Host0:04

Whenever I meet anyone new, I like to picture them naked.

  3. Graham Norton· Host0:07

    Yes, you do.

  4. Maria McErlane· Host0:08

[laughs] [laughs] Is that so wrong?

  5. Graham Norton· Host0:11

[laughs] Then you live in Hastings. [laughs] I wondered what the point of having children was. [laughs] If I'd known there was a free drink involved [laughs] You can become an alcoholic. I'd have squeezed one out ages ago. [upbeat music] Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to this week's SoSo Offering Advice from myself and my good friend Maria McKerlin. It's Wanging On with Graham and Maria. Hello.

  6. Maria McErlane· Host0:35

Nice to see you, Graham. How are you?

  7. Graham Norton· Host0:37

I'm very well. You're looking, Graham... May I say you're looking quite trim.

  8. Maria McErlane· Host0:40

    Trim, am I?

  9. Graham Norton· Host0:42

Are you? Are you on the...

  10. Maria McErlane· Host0:43

No, I am not on the pen, as it's called.

    Oh.

  12. Maria McErlane· Host0:46

People say, "Is she on the pen?"

  13. Graham Norton· Host0:48

This is- Which is for Ozempic. Ozempic.

  14. Maria McErlane· Host0:50

    But- It...

  15. Graham Norton· Host0:51

Are they all the same? Is Mounjaro, are they all the same?

  16. Maria McErlane· Host0:53

Well, Mounjaro, Wegovy, I think there's another one. They're all the same GLP-1s, which is, you know, some sort of blocker.

  17. Graham Norton· Host1:00

And is it like your diabetic pen? Do you just, like, stick it in your thigh?

  18. Maria McErlane· Host1:03

    It's... I have tried it.

  19. Graham Norton· Host1:04

    Oh, really?

  20. Maria McErlane· Host1:05

Yeah, because I put on a bit of weight when I was on steroids [laughs] because of my bodybuilding, obviously.

  21. Graham Norton· Host1:10

[laughs] Of course. [laughs] Yes. Miss Universe won't lift her own crown.

  22. Maria McErlane· Host1:14

[laughs] [laughs] No, I had a lung issue, so I had some steroids, and they're horrible and hateful, but they do make you chub up.

  23. Graham Norton· Host1:21

    Oh.

  24. Maria McErlane· Host1:22

So I was a bit vain about that, and so I thought, "Ooh, I'll get some Ozempic," which is very easy to get. It's awful to say.

  25. Graham Norton· Host1:27

You just buy it, can't you?

  26. Maria McErlane· Host1:28

    Yeah.

  27. Graham Norton· Host1:28
