[upbeat music] Welcome to The Straight Stitch, a podcast about sewing and other fiber arts. This is episode 123, and my name is Janet Zabo. I'll be your guide as we explore all things sewing. It has been a week of Scout Tees. I don't know if you're familiar with that pattern, but it's from Grainline Studio, and it's a very simple woven pullover tee. I made one last year, and I pulled it out of the closet a few weeks ago to wear it to an event and was reminded of how comfortable it is, so I made a few more. The original one was made out of some Brussels Washer Linen. That's a Robert Kaufman fabric, and I absolutely love it. So I made another one out of Brussels Washer Linen in kind of a grass green color, and then I made one in a navy blue color. I need some basic tops in, like, black and white and navy blue, and they're not exciting to sew, but they really do the heavy lifting in my wardrobe. So I knocked out a Scout
